IIT Hyderabad Celebrates Alumni Day

Indian Institute of Engineering Hyderabad celebrated its 3rd Alumni Working day on 18 December 18 2022, in hybrid mode for individuals who can’t witness the event. This 12 months, the Institute has introduced the 3rd established of Alumni Awards with a specific Alumni Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship and Contribution to Nation Creating, Institute Making to inspire Entrepreneurship amongst IITHians and be on the motto to provide Humanity.
On celebration, IITHAA announced 23 finalists of 10/10. IITHAA is established out to build the inaugural 10 on 10 checklist, to honour the upcoming 10 big visionaries and Most Influential Alumni of IITH in the final 10 decades in Entrepreneurship, Technological innovation, Social, Corporate and Administration.
Alumni Awardees and other Alumni have also shared how they can lead to the development of the IITH.

From the alumni of graduating batches to those who’ve made a mark in the world with their achievements, the event brought together IIT Hyderabad’s diverse range of outstanding personalities, with a shared passion for excellence. The event celebrated the success of alumni and showcased their contributions towards making the institute an internationally acclaimed technical institute.
In an exclusive panel discussion, alumni in attendance discussed the “Change of Momentum” at IIT Hyderabad and the impact it has had in the year 2020. This discussion further highlighted the success of the institute’s alumni, in helping to make the institute an internationally respected center of excellence.
The IIT Alumni Support Committee, faculty and alumni members from many countries attended the event. During the event, alumni had the chance to network and exchange their stories and experiences. The alumni discussed different opportunities for collaboration and shared their ideas for improving IIT Hyderabad. They also explored opportunities for collective effort in promoting the institute.
The event also featured the launch of an alumni website where alumni can access information, events and connect with other alumni. The website aims to help alumni strengthen the institute’s global network and brand.
Overall, the Alumni Day was an event marked by enthusiasm, unity, and pride. Most importantly, it was also a reminder of the essential role played by alumni in making IIT Hyderabad a symbol of excellence and a source of pride for India.
