Countrywide Talent Development Company (NSDC), operating underneath the aegis of Ministry of Talent Enhancement & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has entered into a partnership with HDFC Everyday living, India’s everyday living insurer, below the Skill India Mission.
As aspect of this collaboration, NSDC will assist HDFC Life in inducting qualified everyday living insurance policy advisors. The partnership will present education to candidates going through the IC38 examination done by the Coverage Regulatory and Enhancement Authority of India (IRDAI) and drive skill improvement. Further, by imparting delicate skills, this collaboration will facilitate options for the youth to discover self-work potential clients for sustainable livelihood. The candidates will be trained for delicate abilities that will groom them skillfully hence enabling them to join superior with potential consumers.

The partnership between the two organizations will focus on providing educational, technical and financial guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs in India, with a focus on the rural population.
Under this partnership, HDFC Life and NSDC will collaborate to implement interactive programmes and workshops across different states of India. The programs will be designed to impart knowledge on diverse subjects such as business planning, marketing, tax, financial literacy, opportunity assessment and budgeting.
In addition, HDFC Life and NSDC will also introduce workshops on topics such as financial and legal aspects of business, leadership abilities, communication skills and personal branding. These will also include aspects of gender, inclusivity and social responsibility necessary to lead a successful and inclusive enterprise.
HDFC Life and NSDC will also roll out a mentorship program to help guide entrepreneurs in their respective fields of interest. The program will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with access to guidance from industry experts, mentors and coaches in the small and medium enterprise segment. The mentorship program will be inductive in introducing the best practices for the establishment and running of a successful business.
Furthermore, to further facilitate the availability of funds for potential entrepreneurs, NSDC and HDFC Life plan to create an online platform to connect them to venture capitalists, lenders and investors.
Thus, the collaborative partnership efforts of NSDC and HDFC combines strong corporate outreach, innovation and collaboration to empower the aspiring entrepreneurs with the essential tools they require to raise their businesses. The culmination of this partnership is expected to benefit thousands of entrepreneurs, estimated to bring over ten lakh jobs in the next five years.
