Tasks during Expedition 68 will include scientific research, spacewalks to perform routine maintenance, and preparations for the arrival of commercial crew vehicles. With the addition of the new crew, the current Expedition 68 mission will grow to seven crew members.
The Expedition 68 crew will return to Earth in April 2021, when Expedition 69 will begin.
