Infosys has also committed to set up a Centre of Excellence in the ‘JEE’ (JNTU-Infosys Engineering Excellence) at the university campus. This center will be a laboratory facility, which will serve as an applied-learning platform configured within the Infosys Innovation Hub. Spread over an area of 8,000sft, this facility at JNTU Hyderabad is the second-of-its-kind across the country, after the Infosys Innovation Hub in Bengaluru. This center is expected to facilitate research collaborations, knowledge-sharing and mentoring between the university and Infosys.

With the above-mentioned initiatives, Infosys and JNTU Hyderabad hope to create a pool of fresh talent, who are well-versed with the latest technologies and industry practices. They plan to achieve this through initiatives such as programmes geared towards strengthening the knowledge base of the students, in-depth training, career development support and industry interaction.

The collaboration between Infosys and JNTU Hyderabad is set to make a positive impact on the university’s curriculum by providing students with the opportunity to get an integrated learning experience and stay updated with the advancements in technology.
