A delegation from the Law Schools of United states of america, like Dr Sarah Gonzales, Director of Graduate Programmes, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Dr Maureen Tracy Leo, Associate Director, Boston University Place of work of Graduate and Global Programmes at Boston College School of Regulation, Dr John Smagula, Assistant Dean, Temple University Beasley College of Regulation, Dr Kara Galvin, Director, Intercontinental and Graduate Courses, College of Minnesota Law, Dr Gabrielle Goodwin, Director of Graduate Lawful Studies at Indiana College Maurer Faculty of Legislation and Dr Mary Beth Busby, Director, Graduate and Global Program Admissions at Northwestern University, Pritzker University of Legislation, visited Amity University Uttar Pradesh Noida, to deliberate on ‘Network Approaches for a World wide cause.’

Source link On Wednesday, 31st July 2019, a delegation of prominent US Law Schools visited Amity University in Noida to talk to students about international education opportunities in the US. The event was jointly organized by Amity University and USIEF (US-India Educational Foundation) which works closely with US colleges and universities, to build mutually beneficial relationships between educational organisations in the US and India.
The delegates included representatives from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, the University of North Texas, University of Colorado Denver, students from the Penn State Dickinson Law School and the Albany Law School. They provided students a forum to get their queries answered and understand the various options they have to pursue international education.In her address, Dr. Niva Shastri, Director, International Office of Amity University, emphasized how international exchange of students through such visits by US Universities, help to create mutual understanding, respect and appreciation of each other’s cultures and values.
The delegates held an interactive session with students who were keen to pursue international education in the US. They spoke about the application process, school facilities and guidance given to the students. By networking with these prestigious universities, Amity Students were enlightened with their perspective of selecting the right universities and programs in the US.
The delegates also visited Amity School of Law, saw its facilities and interacted with the students. This was a great platform for students and a way for teachers and administrators to get to know the culture of the universities in the US, thus bridge, the gap between the Law Schools in India and the US.
At the conclusion of the program, the delegates expressed their gratitude to Amity University for organizing the visit and the Guests Of Honour, the Hon’ble Pro Chancellor Dr. Atul Chauhan and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla for their warm hospitality. They assured to collaborate more with Amity in the future and look forward to welcoming more students from Amity University to their universities.
