The students have become more aware of their surroundings and have started to protest the wrong that is being done in the world today. From protesting against gender inequality, against human trafficking, and against racial and religious discrimination, the students have taken stand for what they believe in. Moreover, they also take part in programs that organize shelter homes for stray animals and campaigns for the betterment of the environment.
In addition to this, their teachers have also encouraged the students to take up initiatives to promote social justice. Recently, some students enacted numerous social justice plays to educate their peers about the importance of bringing about change. These plays provoked the audience to discuss the issues that exist in our society.
The students have also formed education-oriented programs that provide scholarships to the underprivileged so they can have access to quality education. Along with this, they have also been engaged in charity work, helping those affected by natural calamities, donating clothes and essentials as well as helping raise funds for medical treatment.
It is clear that these determined students are playing an important role in teaching the society about its duty to fight for socio-economic equality. Their efforts should be appreciated and recognized for providing inspiration to others so that a meaningful and lasting change can be achieved.
