Various accidents have been reported in a capturing on the campus of Michigan Condition College in East Lansing, law enforcement claimed.

MSU law enforcement stated pictures were being fired near the campus’s Berkey Corridor, which is residence to the Higher education of Social Science, and there was one more claimed taking pictures at the IM East Physical fitness Middle.

Law enforcement mentioned there is only one particular suspect. They also reported the suspect was on foot and urged campus members to shelter in position.

Scanner website traffic claimed pictures fired at Berkey, Hubbard, East McDonel and Phillips Halls, the Union and IM East, according to campus newspaper The Point out News.

At around 9:30 p.m. local time, police issued an alert warning of a shooting in the engineering building on the campus. Students were advised to take shelter and remain indoors.



Local media outlets, including WILX News 10, reported that the school confirmed multiple victims. In a statement, university police said that the shooting did not appear to be random and there was no active threat to campus.



According to the university, the victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment and their families have been notified. No other details about their injuries or conditions have been released by the school.



The incident is still under investigation by university police, with assistance from the Michigan State Police. No suspect has been identified and no other information has been released.



This is the latest incident of gun violence on college campuses across the country. In March, a shooting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte resulted in two deaths and four injuries.
