LG Debuts Laser and LED Projectors for Education
LG has introduced two new projectors in its ProBeam line of education laser projectors for large and medium spaces, as well as a new LED projector for small spaces.
The LG ProBeam BU70QGA Laser Projector is designed for large venues and offers a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 with a brightness of 7,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. The laser light source offers a life of up to 20,000 hours. Other features include:

Automatic 25-point keystone adjustment;

Throw ratio of 1.53 to 2.45;

Lens shift of +/- 28% horizontal and +60%/-33% vertical;

1.6x zoom;

HDR; and

Support for screen sizes from 40 inches to 300 inches (diagonal).
The other new laser projector is the ProBeam BF40QS. Designed for medium spaces, the BF40QS offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200, a brightness of 4,000 lumens, and a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Other features include:

Four-corner keystone adjustment;

Throw ratio of 1.3 to 2.08;

Lens shift of 20% horizontal and 50% vertical;

1.6x zoom;

Support for screen sizes from 40 inches to 300 inches (diagonal).
Finally, the PF510Qc is an LED projector designed for smaller spaces, offering a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, a brightness of 450 lumens, and a contrast ratio of 150,000:1.
The ProBeam BU70QGA lists for $5,999. The ProBeam BF40QS lists for $1,999. The PF510Qc goes for $599. Further information can be found on the LG site.

LG Releases Laser and LED Projectors for Education Market
Leading electronics brand LG Electronics recently debuted two new projector solutions targeted towards the education market.
The first of the two is the ultra-short-throw LG ProBeam HF85JA. This laser projector is designed to provide educators with large, vivid images from a short distance away. Featuring a 0.23 Throw Ratio ratio and 1,500 lumens brightness, the projector is capable of creating images up to 120 inches without distortion. The ProBeam HF85JA also supports HD resolutions up to 1080p and offers three built-in 5-watt speakers.
In addition to the ProBeam HF85JA, LG also released the LED projector model PF50KA. It produces a bright 3,500 lumens image of up to 120 inches and also supports HD resolutions up to 1080p. Other features include two 5-watt speakers, a contrast ratio of 50,000:1, and the ability to project images off a USB-C thumb drive.
For both models, LG designed a user-friendly interface and intuitive remote control with a host of features to make setup, navigation, and teaching hassle-free. The user-friendly interface prominently displays the many options available to the user. In addition, both models have a dedicated button to quickly turn the projector on and off. To make maintenance easier, LG incorporated a dust filter and built-in auto-cleaning system to reduce airborne particulates.
All in all, LG’s two new projector solutions bring a range of features to the education market to make teaching easier for educators. From the user-friendly interface and intuitive remote control to the user- friendly auto-cleaning feature, LG brings a range of innovations to improve teaching experiences.
