Dr (Prof) Sangeeta Shah Bharadwaj will be taking on the position of Acting Director of MDI, Gurgaon, just one of India’s top rated-ranked management institutes from now onwards
Sangeeta Shah Bharadwaj joined MDI Gurgaon in May perhaps 2001 and is the senior most school member at the institute nowadays. With in excess of two a long time at the institute, she will now be top the B-college after the former director, Dr Rajesh Chakrabarti’s departure.
Dr Bharadwaj is a Professor in Information Management Location and serves as Dean Administration, Good quality and Compliance (AQC).
She has held a lot of positions of prominence together with, Dean Executive Education and Chairperson, Electronic Infrastructure.
As Dean AQC, she has led initiatives linked to Nationwide and Global accreditation. In her job, as Chairperson of Electronic Infrastructure, she correctly implemented Oracle Peoplesoft ERP at MDI, RFID task of Library, Doc Management Technique, RFID task for Set Property and several far more. She has also served as a jury member for analyzing the Digital transformation tasks of public sector enterprises and served as a Member Board of Reports at USMS GGSIP College.
Dr Bharadwaj experienced completed intensive investigation in regions of IT Outsourcing, emerging technologies and awareness administration.
Just after careful deliberation, the board of MDI has formally named her Performing Director from nowadays, on the event of Lohri, 13th January onwards for MDI, Gurgaon.

Dr. Sangeeta Shah Bhardwaj took her appointment as the Acting Director of MDI, Gurgaon on August 03, 2020. She is the first woman to hold this post in the Institute’s history and an alumnus of MDI herself, having done her fellowship from the Institute in Finance and Control.
Dr. Bhardwaj began her career in industry, working with the prestigious Tata Group, Whirlpool of India Ltd and ITC Ltd, before entering academics. After teaching at MDI for 14 years and taking on various responsibilities, she was appointed as Assistant Dean, and eventually as Dean – Academics for MDI, Murshidabad in 2019.
Her vast experience in the corporate world and her profound knowledge of the Institute definitely stands her in good stead to bring about positive changes in the Institute and strengthen MDI’s academic programmes.
Dr. Bhardwaj is an authority on Supply Chain Management and operations and her research interests lie in the fields of Pricing and Product Life Cycle Management, Vendor Management Systems, International Trade and Customer Relationship Management.
She has written several books, book chapters and research papers, and has won several laurels for her contributions in academics.
