On March 31, 2021, at 3:00 PM ET, the ASCD is hosting a webinar entitled ‘Courageous Leadership: Where We Live, Learn, and Earn’ to provide educators with the knowledge and skills to lead courageously.

During the webinar, Dr. Erina Ozone, founder of Courageous Leadership, and Dr. Hawley Almstedt, executive director of leadership of the ASCD, will discuss how courageous leadership practices are needed now more than ever. They will explore real-life stories of those practicing courage, and the power of courage in the face of fear, challenge, and difficulty. Through these stories, participants will learn how to create an environment in their schools and districts that promote practices that are resilient, inclusive, and co-created.

Participants will gain a better understanding of how to build courage in their circles of influence and how to strengthen a culture of inclusiveness and equity. This webinar will also encourage participants to accept risk and fail better, celebrate and reward courageous leadership, and create a culture of exchange and collaboration.

The webinar will provide useful, practical strategies and resources to help educators on their courageous leadership journey. For those interested in learning more about courageous leadership and how to create an environment of courageousness in their community, this webinar is the perfect opportunity.

This webinar will be moderated by ASCD’s executive director of leadership and organizational development, Dr. Hawley Almstedt. To register for the webinar, visit the ASCD’s website.
